Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires four additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental and medical school. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Lang manages a wide variety of problems relating to the Mouth, Teeth and Facial Regions. Dr. Lang practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Wisdom Tooth Removal and Dental Implant Surgery to Corrective Jaw Surgery. This includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. He also diagnoses and treats Facial Pain, Facial Injuries and Fractures and Temporomandibular disorders (TMJ).
Surgical Staff
Dr. Lang's staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous or IV Sedation or outpatient General Anesthesia in our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery for their safety.
Our surgical staff is experienced and trained to respond to any possible office emergencies. All staff are certified in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Dr. Lang has certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He and his staff are certified for administration of outpatient general anesthesia and sedation by the Florida Board of Dentistry.
